You may get some advice from your physician on weight loss but most GP’s admit that they don’t have the training required to really help you with that, other than eat-less-exercise-more. And that’s great advice but it’s just not enough.
But here’s the good news: I use an integrative approach that understands that many of your health issues are related to each other. So who am I and why do I think I should be the one to help you?

Or someone who claims they can help you sleep better but they have huge bags under their eyes? That’s because they may have learned some wellness and/or fitness principles but don’t know how to put them together for optimal health. If they had figured it out, they would be vibrantly healthy! They probably aren’t your best resource to help you achieve your best health.
I realize that sounds harsh, but I have seen people waste money on cookie-cutter weight loss programs and fitness regimes, or put their faith in a medical professional who has a one track mind. (That’s not to say that the entire medical profession is bad, but many doctors just don’t have the tools they need to treat you as a whole person.) I don’t want you to waste your time and money like that. My approach is to take an integrative, holistic look at your health concerns. Everything inside my programs is customized to you, and I use many different philosophies and techniques to bring you to ultimate optimal health. In 2007 I read a book that changed my life. It is called The China Study and after reading it I switched to a plant-based diet. There have been many other books since then that have added to my knowledge and helped shape my philosophy on nutrition.

Here is my general guideline:
9 Month Program – This is a total life overhaul. If you need lots of work, you can’t expect things to change overnight. I will work with you at your own pace to make the necessary changes that will turn your life around.
6 Month Program – This is my program that works for most people. Whether your goal is healthy weight loss, better sleep, digestion issues, disease prevention, work/life balance or some other health goal, this program is the one for you.
3 Month Program – If you’re an athlete, a weekend warrior, or someone who is generally healthy, this program is for you. I can help athletes cut that final few pounds to reach your goal. I can help you find your way around a grocery store without stress. I can help you in the kitchen if you want some quick, nutritious meal ideas.

Do you have enough time to achieve optimal health?
If you’re thinking this program is going to take up too much of your time – what the heck DO you have time for? What else could be more important than being healthy and happy? Isn’t that what life is all about?
YES this is going to take up some of your time – precisely 2 50-minute sessions per month for the next 3, 6, or 9 months. But please do not let this pass you by because you don’t think this is the “right time” or you aren’t willing to commit to just 2 hours a month. I will sit down with you and look at your schedule to decide when we can meet for every session so that it’s most convenient for you. It is that important to me that you be healthy.
Got questions? Here are my most common FAQ’s.
Will I need to spend extra money on supplements? Perhaps. If I would like you to try a supplement, I will always provide you a sample first. That way, we can determine if it’s right for you and you won’t have to waste your money. Some supplements will be temporary – to boost your immune system or to help with digestion, and others may be recommended to take on an ongoing basis.
How will we know what’s working and what’s not? Rather than changing everything you eat, adding every supplement under the sun, and drastically changing your lifestyle all at once, we take small steps and re-evaluate every 2 weeks. That way we will know what changes are most effective for you.
Do you take appointments on evenings and weekends? Absolutely! In fact, at this moment I’m only taking evening and weekend appointments. We will work together to find a meeting time that works for you.
How much time will I need to spend on exercise each week? That completely depends on you! If you’re already training for a marathon, for instance, I’m unlikely to add much to that. If, however, you’re not exercising at all or if you’re exercising ineffectively in relation to your goals, we will tweak it and you can probably count on approximately 30 minutes per day. And no, you don’t need a gym membership!
Can I pay monthly? Yes, I do want to make this accessible for as many people as possible. You will save some money by paying upfront, but I can finance your program for an additional $20 per month.
