Salad dressing recipe
I came up with this lovely salad dressing based on a little café in downtown Winnipeg. I love their salad but I know that if I make it at home I will make it with superior ingredients (nix the iceberg lettuce, add in organic produce). So here’s a tangy little salad dressing that you can use:
In a little blender (I use my Magic Bullet), combine and whiz the following ingredients:
1 TBSP balsamic vinegar
1 TBSP red wine vinegar
1 TBSP Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
I usually serve this over romaine, tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded carrot, red onion and home-made croutons. Delish!
